John Carter Joins Resort at Squaw Creek as Director of Leisure Sales
Olympic Valley, CA - September 6, 2011 - Resort at Squaw Creek™ executives have announced that John Carter will join the 405 room AAA Four Diamond resort, which is managed by Destination Hotels & Resorts, as Director of Leisure Sales.
Carter brings a wealth of luxury hospitality experience to his new position. Prior to moving to Lake Tahoe for the opportunity with Resort at Squaw Creek, Carter served as a specialty travel consultant with tour operator Alpine Adventures. He has also served as director of sales and marketing at several mountain destination properties including The Sky Hotel in Aspen, Colorado, and The Hotel Telluride in Telluride, Colorado.
As a former Colorado Tourism Ambassador and current Harris Poll Travel Panelist, Carter's research and insight reflects the evolving vanguard of travel. He has earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Louisiana State University as well as an Advanced Certification in Hospitality Marketing from the prestigious Cornell University School of Hotel Administration.
