IHG Appoints James P. Manley, VP, Talent Acquisition, The Americas
ATLANTA, GA, February 2, 2007. IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) [LON: IHG, NYSE: IHG (ADRs)], the world's largest hotel group by number of rooms, has named James P. Manley, vice president, Talent Acquisition, Americas region.
Based in Atlanta and reporting to Kate Stillman, senior vice president, Americas Human Resources and Talent Development & Learning, IHG, Manley is responsible for establishing and maintaining strategic talent acquisition strategies to source, attract and select management personnel needed to direct and operate all brands of IHG's hotel operations and corporate staff in the Americas region. The talent acquisition group delivers high-quality professional, managerial and executive level candidates to the business and increases awareness of IHG as a potential place of employment.

Manley joined IHG in 1981 and has held various positions of increasing responsibility in human resources in both the Americas and Asia Pacific regions, including assisting with numerous InterContinental Hotels & Resorts openings, as well as company and property takeovers and divestitures domestically and internationally. Most recently, he held the position of VP, Human Resources, for IHG's estate of owned and managed hotels in the Americas.
Manley earned his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Rowan University and his Masters of Professional Studies from the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University.
