David Lopez Named GM of THE OUT NYC
LBGT-targeted Boutique Hotel Scheduled to Open in Early 2012
New York, NY - September 29, 2011 - As THE OUT NYC continues preparations for its coming out party early next year; New York City's first gay hotel and entertainment complex has announced that hotel veteran David Lopez will assume the position of General Manager. With 14 years of experience as a general manager and over 25 years managing all facets of hotel operations, brand development, and marketing, Lopez brings a wealth of expertise to his new role at the highly-anticipated 105-room boutique property.
Prior to joining the team at THE OUT NYC, Lopez served as General Manager at several New York City properties including the St. Giles New York, The Mansfield Hotel, the Roger Williams Hotel and Hotel Mela. Beyond the Big Apple, he also led teams at San Juan Water & Beach Club in Puerto Rico and The House in St. James, Barbados.

THE OUT NYC, located on 42nd Street between 10th and 11th Avenues, will encompass a 105-room hotel, the 11,000 square foot XL NIGHTCLUB, a late-night cafe and restaurant, three courtyards, a business/conference center, function space, and a wellness center. Rates will start at approximately $250.
