WELCHES (Mt. Hood) - OR - October 13, 2011 - Guests at The Resort at The Mountain (The Resort), will soon be able to enjoy heated outdoor swimming, when a new pool dome tent is put in place later this month.

“With our new pool dome tent, we can offer one more activity for our guests to do during the winter,” said Frank Casarez, general manager of The Resort. “The pool dome tent makes it fun and easy for resort guests to enjoy heated swimming after returning on The Resort's ski shuttle from a day on the slopes.”

The Resort's dome, made by Ameri-Brand Products Inc., encapsulates the outdoor pool and provides heat and protection from the harsh elements during the winter. The pool dome tent will be removed in early spring and The Resort's outdoor whirlpool spa will remain uncovered year-round.

The Resort at The Mountain is a nature-inspired golf, spa and year-round ski destination located on 243 acres, less than one hour east of Portland, Ore.
