Dorchester Collection Appoints Eugenio Pirri VP People & Organizational Development
December 15, 2011 - Based in London, Eugenio Pirri will report directly to Christopher Cowdray, chief executive officer of Dorchester Collection.
With a career spanning over 20 years in the hospitality industry, Pirri joins Dorchester Collection from his most recent position as regional director of human resources at The Savoy & Fairmont Hotels & Resorts Europe, where he was responsible for executing corporate HR strategy within the European properties.
Pirri began his career in food and beverage, later moving into human resources. He has worked in Canada and the US as director of human resources for Delta Hotels and Starwood Hotels (in both the W and Westin Hotels & Resorts) and director of learning and development at Pan Pacific Hotels. Pirri holds a diploma in Hospitality Administration and completed studies in Employment Law and Human Rights in Vancouver, receiving his professional Certified Human Resources Professional designation in 2002.
