The Independent Lodging Industry Association Applauds President Obama's Effort to Increase Travel
Sacramento, CA - January 20, 2011 - The Independent Lodging Industry Association (ILIA) applauds the announced effort of President Obama to increase travel and tourism to and within the United States. The President's Executive Order, released yesterday, creates a new task force to "develop a National Travel and Tourism Strategy with recommendations for new policies and initiatives to promote domestic and international travel opportunities throughout the United States with the goal of increasing the United States market share of worldwide travel... thereby expanding job creation in the United States."
