Work has begun on the Waterford Hotel Groups Courtyard Marriott in Concord New Hampshire
FEBRUARY 12, 2007. The Castalot Group, LLC officially forms Castalot Marble & Granite with partners Peter Neillands and Joe Corallo. Pete will be handling large scale properties with over 250,00 sq ft of stone. Joe brings 20 years of high end residential building experience as the President of Mirage construction. He has built homes for an exclusive client list including Jay-Z, Damon Dash and Eddie Murphy. Total square footage sold this year is expected to exceed 1,000,000 sq ft in tiles and vanities. This move allows The Castalot Group, LLC to expand its portfolio under one umbrella.
Work has begun on the Waterford Hotel Groups Courtyard Marriott in Concord New Hampshire. The Castalot Group, LLC was awarded the GC position for renovations on the 90 room hotel and the Grappone conference center. Work is expected to take 5-6 weeks. Under The Waterford Hotel Groups Umbrella are Waterford Hospitality, Wolman Construction and Waterford Gaming. Waterford Gaming owns the Mohegan Sun casino located in Connecticut.
Castalot Marble & Granite was awarded the 20,000 square foot granite contract for the 4 star Crown Plaza Boston. Their exotic stone is expected to arrive this week. Ownership is the Peabody Hotel Group, Inc. which owns and manages some 30 high end properties to include the exclusive Peabody hotels in Orlando, Memphis and Little Rock.
Castalot Marble & Granite was invited to bid on the new 253 room construction of a flag ship Hilton located in Columbus, Ohio. The property also contains some 40,000 sq ft of meeting space. The GC on the project is Brackett Builders, Inc and the Ownership group is FLG Hospitality with some 30 properties located in 7 states. This project is expected to take 23 months to complete.
Castalot Marble & Granite awaits Choice Hotels approval of granite colors at the Comfort Inn, Seville Ohio. Hatchett Hospitality's Mike Delury is in charge of the new Choice Hotel FF&E package.
