White Lodging Names Rob Kennehan as GM for Embassy Suites Tampa/Brandon Hotel
MERRILLVILLE, IN - April 5, 2012 - Making a move from Silver Springs, MD, Rob Kennehan was promoted to lead the Embassy Suites Tampa/Brandon hotel as its general manager.
Kennehan started his new role at the beginning of the month, leaving his position of general manager at the Hilton Garden Inn Silver Springs.
"I am delighted to serve under the direction of Regional Vice President Bob Jensch, and join the results-oriented team at the Embassy Suites," Kennehan said.
Kennehan has been in the hospitality business for more than 10 years, working in roles such as Assistant Front Office Manager and Sales Manager, and has served as general manager at three hotels prior to his role at the Embassy Suites.
He said he is looking forward to work in the full service side of the industry, and working toward making an immediate impact at the hotels in community relations and talent development.
"Rob has a history of strong leadership that will make him a perfect fit at the Embassy Suites," said Regional Vice President Bob Jensch. "I'm confident he has the talent and the drive to maximize the hotel's value."
Kennehan said he is excited to begin exploring the gulf coast with his wife Becky and their children 2-year-old William and 9-month-old Carolyn.
