BOSTON, MA - April 16, 2012 - Children's Hospital Boston and Hyatt Regency Boston have partnered to re-design a hotel room that reflects the rich history and life-saving care of Children's Hospital Boston, while making it a true “destination” for hotel guests. Hyatt customers will be given the option to select this room knowing that proceeds from their stay will benefit Children's Hospital Boston. The hotel will also raise funds through: donation asks at check-in, a round-up-the-change program in the hotel restaurant, giving envelopes in every room, and an online giving opportunity with a goal of raising $25,000 for Children's Hospital Boston.

Design elements of the room include a World Map that highlights regions where Children's Hospital Boston patients have originated, framed artwork, bathroom tiles created by Children's patients and much more. One grateful patient family, whose child helped decorate the bathroom tiles, was invited to spend the first night in the remodeled room. The “Room for Hope” will be available until April of 2013.
