Greenwood Hospitality Group Announces Acquisition of Hilton Hotel In Harrisburg, PA
Harrisburg, PA - July 26, 2012 - Greenwood Hospitality Group today announced the acquisition of the Hilton hotel located in Harrisburg, PA. Greenwood's Principal Thomas Conran made the announcement.
Developed in 1990, the Hilton Harrisburg is situated in the heart of downtown and features 348 guestrooms, 26,000 square feet of meeting and conference room space, The Golden Sheaf (AAA-Four Diamond restaurant), and other casual restaurant and lounge options. The hotel is situated only two blocks from the State Capital Complex and is connected by an enclosed walkway to the Whitaker Center for Science and the Arts and Strawberry Square, a mixed-use retail and office complex.
In the coming months, Greenwood will perform a multi-million dollar renovation that will include updates and additions to all guestrooms and public spaces.
