New York, NY - September 26, 2012 - ME Cancun, known as a destination with style, sophistication and seduction, is offering a special package for its upcoming “Pooch Pawty” on Saturday, October 6, 2012 for travelers that wish to enjoy all the excitement that comes with a sunny escape, only with their doggy being the center of attention! This unique Pawty is entirely devoted to spoiling and indulging guests' small dogs, offering gourmet treats, specialty drinks, massages, mani's, 'paw'-di's, and much more. Starting at $199, the package must be booked by September 28, 2012 for stays between Thursday, October 4 through Tuesday, October 9, 2012.

Upon arrival, ME Cancun will check-in the special canine, taking their photograph that is then given to the owner in a custom frame as a keepsake. Each pup will be greeted with a welcome cookie and special punch. At the Saturday evening Pawty, guests and their furry friends will partake in numerous activities including manicures, 'paw'-dicures, and massages provided by Petopia (www.Petopia.mx), local Cancun pet services, as well as a gourmet doggy buffet of vet-approved cookies, muffins, kibble, liver, etc. If the adults want some “ME” time, they can entrust their dog to the VIP Club (Very Important Pooch Club) where the dogs can socialize and be entertained with doggy slides, toys, dog beds, and dog handlers.

For an added layer of excitement, there will be a “doggiewalk” show, where socialites along with their special canine guests will strut their stuff on a runway for the crowd. Additionally, a special DJ will be in attendance spinning a blend of sophisticated, energetic ME mood music.

The package starts at $199 per person, per night (based on double occupancy) for Deluxe Sunset View accommodations. The rate applies for travel dates October 4-9, but there is no night minimum required (i.e. a guest could use the rate for one night only if desired). All of the above is included in the rate, as well as all food and beverage (breakfast, lunch, dinner), in-room dog amenities (plush bed, blanket with hood, bowls), doggy welcome kit (shampoo, paw-fume, teeth cleanser, ball toy) provided by Cancun's Petopia, waived pet fee, doggy vacation diploma, doggy neck handkerchief, late check-out until 3 pm, welcome gift, and taxes. The package is only applicable for small, lap dogs that are able to be carried within the cabin of an airplane.

Upgrades are available to all room categories, such as Luxury Ocean Front ($229), Junior Ocean View** ($299), and Loft Suite** ($329). These rates are per person, per night, and are based on double occupancy. ME Cancun's Two-Bedroom Master Suite** is available for $1,750 per night for four adults, and SuiteME** can be booked at $6,750 per night for four adults as well. **Guests staying in a room category that is a part of ME+, ME Cancun's premium room options suited for the discerning traveler that wants an exclusive experience, will receive “The Total Experience.” Included in this choice are all ultra-premium brands at the bar, complimentary drinks until closing, enhanced mini bar including replenished bottles of whiskey, tequila and vodka, complimentary mini massage at the on-site YHI Spa, complimentary movie night, and more!
