BLT Architects Wins Multiple Casino Design Awards for Revel

Firm and Partners Earn Best Architectural and Overall Interior Design for a Casino Resort Over $250M

Philadelphia, PA - October 4, 2012 - BLT Architects (BLTa), a Philadelphia-based architectural and interior design firm, today announced that it has won, in conjunction with its partners, multiple Global Gaming Expo (G2E) Casino Design Awards for Revel in Atlantic City. BLTa served as the Executive Architect and Architect of Record for 75 percent of the 6.3 million square foot complex on the New Jersey beachfront, and design architect and interior designer for many of the spaces including back of house.

BLTa, Arquitectonica, and SOSH Architects were awarded Best Architectural Design over $250 Million for a Casino or Casino Resort, Best Overall Interior Design for a Casino or Casino Resort, Best Landscape Design for a Casino or Casino Resort, and the Best Overall Construction Project for a Casino or Casino Resort over $250 Million. The (G2E) Casino Design Awards are the preeminent design awards program for the gaming industry designed to recognize excellence in architecture, design and construction in the casino entertainment industry. The awards will be presented October 2nd, at G2E 2012 at the Sands Expo Center at the Venetian in Las Vegas.
