Pan Pacific Hotels Group appoints Keren Southgate as Area Director of Sales Oceania
Singapore - 5 October 2012 - Pan Pacific Hotels Group has announced the appointment of Keren Southgate as Area Director of Sales Oceania. Keren will be responsible for the overall sales performance of the Group's hotels in Oceania which include PARKROYAL Parramatta, PARKROYAL Darling Harbour, Sydney, PARKROYAL Melbourne Airport and Pan Pacific Perth.
Based in PARKROYAL Melbourne Airport, Keren will focus on increasing business growth, building brand awareness and managing clients to maximise revenue and market share and drive sales as the Group continues to grow its presence within Oceania under both its Pan Pacific and PARKROYAL brands.
Keren brings to her new role over 20 years of experience in the hospitality and tourism industry. Prior to her appointment, she was Director of Sales & Marketing for The Sebel & Citigate Albert Park Melbourne, where she led a 10-member strong team and successfully drove significant revenue growth in the hotel's conferencing market.
Keren's vision and passion for the service industry saw her take on the position of General Manager Sales at Staging Connections, a company focused on delivering highly-specialised event services around the world.
Previously, Keren also served with Carlton Crest Hotel Melbourne as Acting General Manager and Director of Sales & Marketing; and at the Melbourne Convention & Visitors Bureau as Director of Sales & Marketing.

The Group currently manages four hotels in Australia - namely, Pan Pacific Perth, PARKROYAL Melbourne Airport, PARKROYAL Parramatta and PARKROYAL Darling Harbour, Sydney.
Currently, PARKROYAL Darling Harbour, Sydney is undergoing a major refurbishment to meet the needs and expectations of today's discerning travellers. Scheduled for completion by the end of this year, the refurbishment extends to the hotel's guestrooms, club lounge, lobby, dining spaces and event facilities.
