BANGKOK, Thailand. February 16, 2007. Dusit Hotels & Resorts, Thailand's premier luxury hotel group, has selected the OPERA Central Systems Solution comprising OPERA Reservations System (ORS), OPERA Customer Information System (OCIS), OPERA Web System (OWS), and OPERA Sales Force Automation (SFA).

"Dusit Hotels & Resorts required a state-of-the-art enterprise solution in view of its rapid expansion combined with the recent merger of Asian Hotels Alliance, where Dusit was a founding partner, into Global Hotel Alliance," said Chanin Donavanik, Chief Executive Officer of Dusit Hotels & Resorts. "We developed a long standing relationship with MICROS, including customization of their software for Thai specific fiscal and operational requirements.

"Once implemented, we will offer a single image inventory between our hotels and the enterprise system with full synchronization to gha.net, which will handle GDS and selected ADS booking channels," Mr Donavanik continued. "The Dusit website will be directly powered by the new enterprise system and will feature on-line customer relationship management to provide instant customer recognition. The integrated SFA system will enable the global Dusit sales force to facilitate attentive and pro-active account management. The deployment of OPERA Central Systems will complement our mission statement to provide high standards of quality service whilst providing excellent value."

Mr. Donavanik added, "Dusit will be the first Thailand based hotel management company to have such a state-of-the-art Central System. With all of the features of the new technology deployed across all distribution channels by early 2008, Dusit Hotels & Resorts will provide all of its hotels and customers instantaneous guest recognition at the point of customer contact combined with a substantially enhanced distribution system via all its distribution channels providing real time availability based on last room and best rate."

"Dusit Hotels and Resorts vote of confidence in MICROS and its products and services is extremely important given its prominent status within the Thai hospitality industry," said Stefan M. Piringer, President of MICROS-Fidelio Asia/Pacific. "We are very grateful and pleased to extend our long partnership with Dusit into the enterprise systems arena."
