Sun International to Open 140-room Boardwalk Hotel and Spa in Port Elizabeth, South Africa
NEW YORK - December 4, 2012 - Sun International Hotels & Resorts has announced the opening of The Boardwalk Hotel and Spa, a five-star property in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. The new hotel is scheduled to open in December 2012.
Facing the Indian Ocean, this majestic Victorian building is set to become one of Port Elizabeth's most iconic hotels. The Boardwalk Hotel and Spa's 140 rooms include eight Luxury Suites and a Presidential Suite. The interior design is a melange of soft bright colors such as peach, light green, cream and floral patterns. The hotel will have one restaurant and two bars, where Sun International's famous buffets will be available for breakfast and dinner. The cuisine will be Asian inspired, offering a blend of spices and other aromatic flavors to accompany fine local seafood.
Visitors to The Boardwalk Hotel and Spa will be able to enjoy everything the Indian Ocean has to offer: sun-drenched beaches, warm clear waters, stunning sunsets and water activities such as swimming, fishing, surfing, scuba diving, snorkeling and sailing.
