Benchmark Appoints Philippe C. Eversdijk as GM for Santa Barbara Beach & Golf Resort, Curacao
Houston, Texas - May 8, 2013 - Benchmark Hospitality International®, a leading U.S.-based hospitality management company, has appointed Philippe C. Eversdijk general manager for the Santa Barbara Beach & Golf Resort, Curacao. Greg Champion, Benchmark's chief operating officer, made the announcement. Philippe Eversdijk comes to his new role having previously served as general manager for the Marriott Clearwater Beach Hotel in Tampa Bay. Previous to this appointment he was vice president and general manager of the Safety Harbor Resort & Spa, located in Safety Harbor, Florida. Earlier in his career, Mr. Eversdijk held senior-level management positions in operations and food & beverage for resorts in Arizona and Florida.
Mr. Eversdijk is a graduate of De Kogge Hotel, Catering and Management School Amsterdam, The Netherlands, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel Management. He is relocating to Curacao.
