Barcelo Maya Beach Announces Plans for a Fifth Hotel
The Barcelo Palace Hotel, an all-suite luxury property, set to open at the Barcelo Maya Beach Resort
MARCH 1, 2007. Barcelo Hotels & Resorts announced the addition of a fifth luxury hotel at its upscale all-inclusive Barcelo Maya Beach Resort in Mexico. The newest addition at the Resort, The Barcelo Maya Palace Hotel, will open at the end of 2007 and will be an all-suite property with 756 junior guest suites.
The hotel's spacious suites will include a sleeping and sitting area, as well as a large contemporary style bathroom finished with natural stone and including a walk-in shower and garden style tub, as well as double sinks. All suites will have ocean or garden views, and large patios or balconies. Additional comfort features are a large screen TV, a desk, dual telephone lines, in-room high speed internet access, and a refrigerated mini-bar for snacks. The resort decor and comfortable furnishings make it perfect for couples on a retreat, conference attendees or families.
And like its sister hotels at The Barcelo Maya Beach Resort, the Barcelo Maya Palace Hotel will offer an all-inclusive experience with access to 20 restaurants and bars, a new Mayan influenced European-style spa, a Conference Center that can accommodate groups of up to 1,680 guests, and more than one mile of pristine Caribbean beach.
