Villa Tre Ville Hotel on Italy's Amalfi Coast Purchased by Ivanhoe Capital
June 19, 2013 - Robert Friedland, Chairman and founder of Ivanhoe Capital Corporation, announced that the company's Ivanhoe Italia LLC subsidiary has completed the acquisition of the Villa Tre Ville luxury hotel.
Robert Friedland, Chairman and founder of Ivanhoe Capital Corporation, announced that the company's Ivanhoe Italia LLC subsidiary has completed the acquisition of the Villa Tre Ville luxury hotel, a complex of distinctive suites that has been a cultural landmark in the Positano area of southwestern Italy for several generations. Villa Tre Ville is nestled on a landscaped promontory overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea.
Mr. Friedland said Villa Tre Ville would form part of an Ivanhoe group of international boutique hotels and villas, with other locations under development in Thailand and Japan.
