The Heathman Hotel Hires Shawn Lee as Director of F&B

June 20, 2013 - The Heathman Hotel, Kirkland's premier full-service luxury hotel, recently announced Shawn Lee as director of food & beverage. In his new post, Lee will be responsible for the service operations of the hotel's 90-seat restaurant, Trellis, as well as the hotel's in-room and private dining and banquet operations.

Lee comes to The Heathman from Parlor Collections where he served as head of operations of their high-volume restaurant and two bars, a 300 seat comedy club, Ultralounge night club, live music program, 14 billiard tables and full service banquet events. Prior to his time with Parlor Collections, he was the general manager of Solstice Restaurant Group Inc where he directed daily operations for both the Stir Martini Raw Bar and Seafood Grill & Twisted Cork.

In 2004, Lee founded Far East Food Co. Inc and Nori Catering Inc., a specialty food company specializing in high quality Asian food with 14 production locations throughout Western WA including King, Pierce and Kitsap counties. Prior positions in the hospitality industry include banquet manager at the Hilton Hotel in Anchorage, Alaska, food and beverage director at the Anchorage Marriott Hotel and outlets manager/banquet manager at the Sheraton Hotel also in Anchorage.

Lee received a Bachelor of Arts in Hospitality and Restaurant Management from the University of Anchorage Alaska.

Lee obtained all major management certifications from Hilton and Sheraton Corporations. He currently resides Auburn, WA with his wife and family.
