Benchmark Appoints Jeff Wardlaw Director of Rooms

HOUSTON, TX, September 13, 2006. Benchmark Hospitality International has announced the promotion of Jeff Wardlaw to director of rooms for Eaglewood Resort, located in Itasca, Illinois, near Chicago. Greg Parsons, general manager for Benchmark at the resort, made the announcement.
"Jeff has contributed significantly to the rooms department and throughout the property since joining Eaglewood Resort just over a year ago," said Mr. Parsons. "We look forward to his continued active involvement and contributions."
Mr. Wardlaw was previously front office manager for Benchmark at Eaglewood Resort, a position he held since 2005. Wardlaw originally joined the Benchmark organization as front office manager for Chaminade of Santa Cruz, California, where he was instrumental in the property achieving Four Diamond status for three consecutive years.
During his tenure with the Benchmark, Wardlaw assumed additional responsibilities by serving on special Task Forces for Lansdowne Resort located near Leesburg, Virginia; The Georgian Terrace Hotel of Atlanta, which was operated by Benchmark at the time; Hotel Contessa of San Antonio; and Glen Cove Mansion Hotel and Conference Center, located in Glen Cove, New York.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Wardlaw held front office positions for Skamania Lodge of Stevenson, Washington, and The Lakeway Inn of Austin, Texas. He attended Southwest Texas State University. Wardlaw resides in Itasca, Illinois.
