Free Gas for B&B Travelers

. October 14, 2008

MARCH 12, 2007. he cost of a gallon of gas has risen more than fifty cents over the past two weeks, and prices are once again approaching three dollars per gallon in parts of the country, according to recent reports. For the fourth year in a row, BedandBreakfast.com members are putting money where guests need it most -- in their gas tanks. Guests who fill up on hearty breakfasts at participating B&Bs will find themselves treated to their own fill-up through the BedandBreakfast.com "Tanks a Lot!" promotion, in which inns offer free gas to B&B travelers. Knowing that travelers are increasingly interested in traveling green, BedandBreakfast.com members have crafted a number of creative offers to reward guests for conserving gas.

Last year, more than 200 "Tanks a Lot" offers were posted on BedandBreakfast.com. While it's still early in the year, B&Bs from 23 states have already created money-saving deals for inngoers. By June 2007, BedandBreakfast.com expects more than 200 offers will be announced for B&B travelers. For a complete list of inns participating in the promotion, go to www.BedandBreakfast.com, and click on Free Gas Promotion in the lower left corner of the screen to find some "wheelly" great deals. Be sure to mention the BedandBreakfast.com Tanks a Lot promotion when booking. Note: All offers are based upon availability for periods specified for consecutive night stays. They do not include holiday periods, and some blackout dates may apply. These offers may not be combined with any other offer and are valid in 2007 only.
