Ground Broken for 73-key Hampton Inn in Brigham City, Utah; Owned by Academy Lodging

BRIGHAM CITY, Utah - February 11, 2014 - Hampton Hotels, Hilton Worldwide's global brand of more than 1,900 mid-priced Hampton Inn, Hampton Inn & Suites and Hampton by Hilton hotels, today announced the groundbreaking of the 73-room Hampton Inn.

The property is owned by Academy Lodging LLC and will be operated by Western States Lodging and Management II. Construction, led by Interwest Construction Company, Inc. and Van Zeben Architecture, is expected to be completed by September 2014.

Once opened, the Hampton Inn will provide an estimated 25 new jobs to the Brigham City area.

The four-story hotel will be located at 40 North Main Street. The hotel will additionally feature Hampton's Perfect Mix Lobby, designed with a variety of seating and lighting options for both leisure and business travelers as an extension of the guestroom.
