CSK Hotels Developing aloft Hotel in Arkansas

ROGERS, AR, March 14, 2007. CSK Hotels LLC, a real-estate development company based in Ft. Smith, Ark., has announced it will be the first to develop an aloft hotel in Arkansas, to be called "aloft Rogers."

The company also is among the first to develop properties for the new Starwood aloft brand. The130-room aloft Rogers is scheduled to break ground tomorrow and open in the first quarter of 2008. Crossland Construction is the general contractor. The property is located at 1103 So. 52nd, near Pinnacle Hills and the Promenade.

"We are very excited about this concept," says CSK Hotels partner Chris Whitt. "It is something new not only to Northwest Arkansas, but to the whole traveling experience."

Conceived by the same team that created W Hotels for Starwood Hotel & Resorts Worldwide, the aloft brand is aimed at raising the bar in the select-service segment. The aloft brand will feature urban-inspired, loft-like guest rooms, enhanced technology services, landscaped outdoor spaces for socializing day and night, and energetic lounge areas designed to serve as attractive venues where guests can socialize. The new aloft hotels also will feature flexible meeting and function space and offer wireless Internet access throughout the properties.
