Hires Expert Talent, Ileana R. Rousseau

MARCH 19, 2007. Karisma Hotels and Resorts, the premier luxury hotel collection in the Riviera Maya, Mexico, announces the appointment of Ileana R. Rousseau as Sales Director.

Adding to an already strong team in place, Rousseau brings over 25 years of hospitality sales and marketing experience to Karisma. She most recently held the title of Director of Corporate Sales at the Harbor Beach Marriott Resort & Spa in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and spent several years overseas with the St. Kitts Marriott Resort and the Royal Beach Casino in St. Kitts as opening Director of Sales.

With a focus on individual incentives as well as groups ranging from 10 to 300 rooms, Karisma is committed to serving this growing market. The new, Azul Blue Hotel + Spa by Karisma (opened on Dec. 15, 2006) features two technologically advanced meeting rooms, which accommodate groups of up to 40 each and include the services of a professional meeting coordinator and support staff, and complete audiovisual equipment. Azul Blue also features a partner-pampering program for spouses/partners, allowing them to relax at the spa, tour the Tulum ruins or participate in interactive food preparation with the chef while the other tends to business. At El Dorado Royale, A Spa Resort by Karisma, a new business facility is scheduled to open on April 20, 2007, accommodating groups of up to 600 people. All of the resorts offer breathtaking locations for both elegant or barefoot outdoor events anytime of day or evening.
