Acclaimed for perfecting the art of personalized service, The Lanesborough, London's leading luxury hotel, is proud to announce the addition of an exclusive new amenity to an already impressive list. The Lanesborough is the first hotel in the UK to provide guests with complimentary, limitless landline telephone calls, with nominal charges to cellular phones, to the United States and European Union countries. With fervor to fulfill guest's every need and desire, this new amenity exemplifies the Lanesborough's knowledge of the most discerning traveler and their commitment to the wellbeing and comfort of their celebrated guests.

"This amenity, offering our guests complimentary international telephone calls to the US and EU, brings the traditional Lanesborough philosophy of exceeding guest's expectations to an entirely new level," said Geoffrey Gelardi, managing director of The Lanesborough. "The Lanesborough not only provides guests with unmatched personalized service; but we are now setting the trend of providing guests with both luxury and practical amenities that have not been brought to fruition by any other hotel in the UK."

The Lanesborough's complimentary services are available to all guests and include 24-hour butler service to assist with unpacking, packing and the co-ordination of social and business itineraries; a NEOS digital interactive television system with infrared keyboard and printer, offering e-mail, latest movies on-demand and extensive CD and DVD libraries; and complimentary fitness trainers in the fitness studio on weekday mornings. In-room, guests are provided with a private telephone line, dedicated facsimile machine; personal business cards printed and prepared for arrival; and international mobile phones for the duration of the guest's visit. Additionally, a change of clothes is pressed upon arrival; tea and coffee is served with daily wake-up calls; a bowl of fresh fruit and assorted sweets are available in all rooms and replenished daily; and mineral water is provided on butler trays.

The complimentary landline telephone calls to the United States and European Union countries are limitless; however, a nominal charge of lb2.50 per 30 minute call will be applied for calls to cellular telephones.
