Frontera Hotel Group Assumes Management of Three Hotels in Texas and Louisiana
October 20, 2014 - Frontera Hotel Group has been awarded management responsibility for three hotels:
- the 88-room Holiday Inn Express & Suites in the Dallas suburb of DeSoto, Texas
- the 101-room Holiday Inn Hammond Northshore in Hammond, Louisiana, about 60 miles north of New Orleans
- the 158-room Quality Inn in Houma, Louisiana, about 60 miles northeast of New Orleans
The Holiday Inn Express and the Quality Inn are limited service properties, while the Holiday Inn Hammond is full service with an on-site restaurant.
"These properties are perfect fits for our corporate philosophy of focusing on midscale and upscale branded hotels in primary and secondary markets," said Peter Bheda, President and CEO of Dallas-based Frontera.
"Currently, we are exploring additional ownership and management opportunities with Hilton, Marriott, and Hyatt to continue our brand diversification that would include properties in major cities such as New York, Chicago, and San Francisco, as well as in Mexico and the Caribbean."
