Henning Reichel Named GM of Schloss Velden,

The First "Star" in the Capella Hotels and Resorts Constellation

VELDEN, Austria, April 4, 2007. Capella Hotels and Resorts announced today that Henning Reichel has been named general manager of Schloss Velden, a Capella Hotel, located on the W"orthersee in Velden, Austria. Schloss Velden will be the first resort of the new Capella Hotels and Resorts collection to open to the public when it welcomes guests in June 2007. In his position, Reichel will oversee all operations of the historic 100-room ch^ateau.

Schloss Velden will feature two dining rooms; a signature Auriga wellness, spa and fitness center; private residences sold by Christie's Great Estates, Europe and a lakefront Beach Club and Marina. Schloss Velden, a Capella Hotel, will be known for distinctive, personalized experiences in keeping with the Capella brand's promise to raise the bar in the luxury hospitality sector.

Before joining Capella Hotels and Resorts, Reichel served as Resident Manager of the Brenner's Park-Hotel & Spa, Baden-Baden, Germany where he oversaw the hotel's entire operation, including the spa and real estate divisions. Reichel began his seasoned career at the Brenner's Park-Hotel & Spa and, during his tenure, completed a Chef Trainee Program at Paris' Hotel de Vigny and graduated from the Berufsakademie in Ravenburg, Germany with a BA in tourism, hotel management and business administration. While Reichel studied at the university, he participated in an exchange program with Canada's Georgian College where he earned a Canadian Tourism Management diploma with Honors. Additionally, Reichel has held controller and food and beverage management positions at a number of Leading Hotels of the World properties.

When his duties at Schloss Velden commence this April, Reichel will reside in Velden with his wife Nadine.
