Sandrine Boutin Appointed Director of Sales

THE MALDIVES, September 14, 2006. The Hilton Maldives Resort & Spa is pleased to announce the appointment of Sandrine Boutin to the position of Director of Sales at the six-star resort.

Sandrine joined the team on 13th June and assumed responsibility for the successful sales department, which is located at the resort. She has extensive knowledge and experience in the travel, tourism and hospitality industries having previously worked for Hilton's International Sales Office in Paris. Prior to this, she has worked with Nosylis and Group Pauli, two French tour operators.

"The resort has fantastic plans for future developments that will underline the Hilton Maldives' position as the leading luxury resort in the country," says Sandrine, "I am looking forward to using my experience to take sales to a new level".

Sandrine will be directly responsible for overseeing and managing relationships with wholesalers from the luxury resort's key markets in Europe and Asia, as well as being extensively involved in establishing business in new markets.
