The Balsams Hires Marsha Cummings as Regional Sales Manager
THE BALSAMS, NH, April 10, 2007. The Balsams Grand Resort Hotel is pleased to announce the hiring of Marsha E. Cummings as Northeast Regional Sales Manager. With over 20 years of hospitality sales experience, Marsha will be responsible for developing group business in Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island. Marsha will work out of the sales office located in Malden and will report to the BALSAMS' Director of Sales & Marketing, Gary Armitage.

Marsha's career in the hospitality industry began in 1986 as Catering Manager at the New Seabury Resort & Conference Center. Over the next 20 years, Marsha was able to hold numerous positions within the industry at prestigious properties including the Hotel Meridien, Museum of Science, Westin Copley Place, Trumbull Marriott, Hampshire House, Sheraton Newton Hotel, Embassy Suites at Logan Airport, and the Charles Hotel in Cambridge.
In her spare time, Marsha enjoys running and competes in several road races each year. She is also an avid traveler, having visited over 20 countries in her lifetime.
