Aimbridge Hospitality Assumes Management of Embassy Suites Chicago Lombard/Oak Brook
DALLAS, TX. October 27, 2015 — Aimbridge Hospitality announces it has been selected as manager for the Embassy Suites by Hilton Chicago Lombard/Oak Brook, located in Lombard, Illinois.
The hotel was acquired by Chelsea Hospitality Partners from Felcor Lodging Trust. Chelsea intends to spend more than $9 million to upgrade and reposition this asset, which is located in one of Chicago's most vibrant suburban markets.
The all-suite atrium hotel features 262 two-room guestrooms and more than 14,000 square feet of meeting space. Additionally, the hotel offers a fitness center, indoor pool with outdoor sundeck, whirlpool, a business center, and gift shop. In addition to the Hotel's complimentary cooked-to-order breakfast and evening reception, the Discovery Bay restaurant and lounge offers lunch and dinner in a casual environment.
Conveniently situated on the Interstate-88 corridor on Butterfield Road just west of Oak Brook, the property benefits from convenient access to downtown Chicago. The Embassy Suites Chicago Lombard/Oak Brook is within walking distance to the many shopping, dining and entertainment outlets and venues at Yorktown Center and the popular Oakbrook Center.
