SAN FRANCISCO - December 7, 2015 - tommie Hotels, a new micro lifestyle hotel brand from Commune Hotels & Resorts, is pleased to announce the appointment of three industry innovators to tommie Hudson Square's management team. The team to debut tommie's first New York City hotel, tommie Hudson Square, in early 2016 includes: Javier Egipciaco, General Manager; Rosa Gutierrez, Director of Sales & Marketing; and Jason Enany, Director of Food, Beverage & Entertainment.
Javier Egipciaco, General Manager
With 18 years of experience in New York's competitive hospitality industry, Egipciaco will oversee day-to-day operations of the 325-room hotel. Prior to joining tommie Hudson Square, Egipciaco was responsible for overseeing strategic operations as the General Manager for the NU Hotel, a Hersha Hospitality property in Downtown Brooklyn. His commitment to guest satisfaction, property operations and financial growth allowed him to expand his role within the company. As a result, Egipciaco took on responsibilities in developing new brand initiatives for Hersha Hospitality's Independent Collection, with a focus on implementing action plans for newly launched and repositioned hotels in markets including Washington, DC, Boston, Santa Barbara, Miami and the Florida Keys. Egipciaco has also held management positions with The GEM Hotel Group in Manhattan and The Stanhope Park Hyatt New York.

Rosa Gutierrez, Director of Sales & Marketing
Gutierrez joins the tommie Hudson Square team with over 20 years of international experience in hospitality and management. She brings in-depth knowledge of the global marketplace and experience in sales, marketing, account management and business development to tommie Hudson Square. She spent the majority of her career with Melia Hotels International, where she helped launch the brand's design-driven lifestyle brand, ME by Melia, before working her way up to Senior Director of Global Corporate Sales of The Americas during her seven-year tenure with the company. Most recently, Gutierrez was the Director of Sales & Marketing for Hyatt Union Square New York, where she was awarded the 2013 Markies Award for Excellence in Public Relations from Hyatt Hotels & Resorts.
Jason Enany, Director of Food, Beverage & Entertainment
A 20-year veteran of the restaurant industry, Enany joins tommie Hudson Square following his most recent role as Director of Operations for EMM Group. In that position, he spent five years overseeing the concept creation, strategic development and day-to-day operations of six restaurants in New York City and Miami. Enany has a proven track record of success, holding various positions at other restaurant companies including BR Guest Hospitality, where his commitment to high service standards, product quality and employee retention resulted in the profitability of multiple high-volume restaurants over the course of his four-year tenure.F or more information, visit tommiehotels.com.
