With more than 20 years of dynamic hospitality experience, Alto has a proven track record of success in leading outstanding hotel performance and guest satisfaction.

Previously, Alto worked with HEI Hotels & Resorts as general manager of Embassy Suites Boston-Waltham in Waltham, Mass. As General Manager, Alto administered a successful renovation of all suites and functional spaces, while implementing various associate-focused initiatives to boost associate morale and engagement.

Before joining TPG Hospitality, Alto worked as General Manager for Omni Richmond Hotel in Richmond, Va. As General Manager, Alto developed and implemented a Green hotel program, heightened service standards and elevated associated engagement survey scores, positioning the hotel above company average. Alto's career in the hospitality industry began at the Four Seasons Hotel Boston in Boston, Mass., and Four Seasons Hotel in Philadelphia, Pa., and later moved to the Hilton Lincoln Center in Dallas, Texas, and Melrose Hotels in Washington, D.C. Noteworthy experience includes, administering the completion of a $17 million renovation during a hotel brand transitioning, as General Manager of the Sheraton Austin Hotel in Austin, Texas. Alto attended Northeastern University in Boston, Mass., where he earned his degree in Criminal Justice, and served in the U.S. Army as an M1-A1 tank commander during Operation Desert Storm.
