The Renaissance Denver Downtown City Center Hotel is pleased to announce Thomas Lloyd as assistant general manager of the urban hotel that calls the historic Colorado National Bank building home.

Formerly the hotel's Director of Food and Beverage, Lloyd brings more than 15 years of restaurant and hospitality management experience to his new role as assistant general manager. He previously served as the director of restaurants at The Ritz-Carlton Denver, before joining Stonebridge Companies during the 2014 launch of the Renaissance Denver Downtown and its range restaurant and Teller Bar.

Since the restaurant's opening it has received a litany of accolades: range was named one of the “Seven Sexiest Restaurants in Denver,” by Zagat, “10 Best New Restaurants of 2014,” by Westword and “Denver's 11 Best New Restaurants of 2014,” from Thrillist, among others.

“Transitioning Thomas to the assistant general manager role is a fitting next step. He has been pivotal to the innovation and success of not only range and the Teller Bar, but of the hotel,” said Michael Damion, general manager. “We are thrilled to have him, and are excited to see what his leadership will inspire.”

In addition to managing operations and personnel under General Manager Michael Damion, Lloyd will maintain an essential role in directing the award-winning dining and beverage service within the hotel.
