The Generation Companies Appoints David Cook COO/CFO
RALEIGH/DURHAM/CHAPEL HILL, NC. August 15, 2016 - The Generation Companies, LLC (Generation), a Raleigh, NC-based real estate developer, owner, asset manager and operator of extended-stay hotels, recently announced the appointment of David Cook of Raleigh to serve in the newly formed position of COO/CFO (Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer). A Certified Public Accountant, Cook brings 33 years of executive management experience in hospitality, real estate, healthcare, manufacturing and public accounting to Generation. His hospitality expertise includes Raleigh-based Alliance Hospitality Management, LLC and Winston Hotels, Inc., a publicly-owned hotel REIT (Real Estate Investment Trust), as well as Interstate Hotels & Resorts, Inc., currently the nation's largest independent hotel operator.
