Sudheer Raghavan New President of Millennium Hotels and Resorts, North America
NEW YORK, NY, August 17, 2005. Millennium Hotels and Resorts, North America, announces the appointment of Sudheer Raghavan as its president. Raghavan will spearhead Millennium Hotels and Resorts' growing presence as a global hotel chain and to increase branding and awareness of its North American properties.
Raghavan is no stranger to the North American industry having served as vice president of Singapore Airlines' (SIA) eastern United States and South America. Based in New York City, he was responsible for sales and marketing for both passenger and cargo business in South America, the eastern states and Illinois. In addition, he supervised SIA's airport operations at John F. Kennedy International Airport and Chicago's O'Hare International Airport.

Raghavan's wealth of experience, proven leadership and achievement in the travel and logistics industry spans a progressive career in the world-renowned Singapore Airlines (SIA), rising from a junior executive in 1981 to that of senior vice president in the Singapore Airlines Cargo Company. He has held several other key senior positions in SIA including corporate vice president for Worldwide Revenue Management and SIA's area vice president in Singapore.
Born in Singapore, Raghavan holds a master of science degree from Cranfield Institute of Technology in the UK.
