Crescent Hotels & Resorts Names Maureen Mackey as Vice President of Global Sales
WASHINGTON, D.C. December 7, 2016 - Michael George, Chief Executive Officer of Crescent Hotels & Resorts, announced that the hotel and resort management company has hired Maureen Mackey as Vice President of Global Sales. Crescent, based in Fairfax, Virginia is a nationally recognized operator of premier hotels and resorts throughout the United States and Canada.
Prior to joining Crescent Hotels & Resorts, Mackey spent 20 years at Hilton Worldwide, most recently serving as Executive Director of Worldwide Sales.
“Maureen's experience and expertise is the perfect fit for Crescent's unique approach as an award-winning hotel and resort manager across the United States and Canada, and for our growing international presence,” said George.
In her new role, Mackey will lead a team of Global Account Managers as well as continue to cultivate Crescent's strong relationships with strategic accounts to drive group and transient business to Crescent managed hotels.
Mackey holds a Bachelor of Science in Advertising from Syracuse University, a Master of Business Administration from University of Phoenix, and an Executive Education Certificate from the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University. She also holds more than a dozen specialized training certificates in management, hospitality and sales.
