First Look at Tampa's New 4-Star Hotel at 10 Water Street by NBWW, Interiors by Champalimaud Design
500 Keys, innovative Meeting Space and Shared Gathering Spaces, Exciting Restaurants and Rooftop Lounge Areas with a World-Class Design.
TAMPA, FL. September 7, 2017 - Situated adjacent to the Tampa Convention Center and Amalie Arena, 10 Water Street will feature 500 hotel rooms and 126,000 square feet of meeting and event space, including an approximately 30,000 square foot grand ballroom, which will be the largest hotel ballroom in Tampa Bay - all connected to the existing Marriott Waterside Hotel & Marina.
The entrance is grounded by a four-story atrium space, envisioned as an active public space that encourages socialization and collaboration. The ground-floor features a full-service restaurant, activating the corner of S. Florida Avenue and Water Street.
“The design of the hotel strengthens the connection between the building and its location, allowing the guest experience to admire and blend into the spirit of the city,” said John Nichols, founder of Nichols Brosch Wurst Wolfe & Associates (NBWW).
The sixth floor serves as the amenity level with an expansive spa and fitness center as well as a restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating, bar, event lawn, and pool terrace.
A rooftop lounge and terrace on the 26th floor features sweeping 360-degree views of downtown Tampa and Hillsborough Bay.
“The new hotel delivers an elevated guest experience for visitors and local residents alike by blending the indoor and outdoor experiences for a sense of understated luxury,” said Bryan Moll, Executive Vice President of Development for Strategic Property Partners (SPP).
Designed by Nichols Brosch Wurst Wolfe & Associates with interiors by Champalimaud, the new hotel will break ground in early 2018 with a grand opening in 2020.
