Sycamore Mineral Springs Names Spa and Wellness Director

SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA, January 16, 2008. Sycamore Mineral Springs Resort welcomes Alice Bergendorff as Spa and Wellness Director for its renowned Spa & Wellness Center. Bergendorff, who officially joined the San Luis Obispo, CA retreat resort in late 2007, brings with her years of accomplishments in the spa industry.

Bergendorff will be directing all aspects of the Sycamore Spa & Wellness Center in her new position. The Center currently offers a variety of therapeutic massages and aesthetic face and body treatments, as well as natural hot mineral spring tubs and a spa retail store.

"She brings an accomplished portfolio with over ten years experience in the health and wellness industry."

Bergendorff was awarded "Spa Director of the Year" by the Las Vegas Spa Association in 2006 for her outstanding contribution to the spa industry and her community.

Prior to joining Sycamore Mineral Springs Resort, Bergendorff held various spa-related positions at Canyon Ranch SpaClub at the Venetian Resort, Harrah's Corporation at the Imperial Palace Hotel and Steiner Leisure's Elemis Spa at Planet Hollywood, all in Las Vegas, NV; KSL Resort at Hotel de Coronado in Coronado, CA; and LSI ClubSport - Green Valley in Henderson, NV.

She is a National Board Certified Licensed Massage Therapist and graduated with a B.A. in Health Psychology from California State University, Long Beach.
