The Insight Summit is an event where members meet to discuss current issues in the next generation of technology solutions, learn about cutting-edge research, acquire practical tools to carry forward, and network with those working in hospitality IT.

On September 26, from 9:15 - 9:45 am, former Virginia Governor and U.S. Senator George Allen, and Strategic Advisor to VT Group will present a keynote address to the attendees. Allen is an ambassador for VT Group's passive optical LAN technology, striving to achieve a goal of encouraging adoption and implementation. As a lifelong public servant, Allen recognizes the benefits which can be realized when individuals and business leaders move beyond the "now" and embrace the future. Later in the morning, from 11:00 - 11:45 am, Farukh Aslam, President at Sinclair Holdings, Marriott Portfolio, will provide remarks at the event about his experiencing in the industry and technologies he is working on such as 'Digital Electricity,' fiber to rooms, and managing and implementing services. Aslam, a VT Group customer, is a commercial real estate developer based in Fort Worth focusing in hotels, office buildings, and upscale apartments. “VT Group's deep experience in technology infrastructure provided a technically sound, cost-effective, and environmentally conscious solution for the Sinclair Holdings' property,” said Aslam. On September 27, from 9:00 - 9:45 am, VT Group's Larry Birnbaum, Vice President, Commercial Solutions, will provide remarks on VT Group's capabilities.
