William (Bill) A. Jensen Named CEO for Intrawest

Will Succeed Alex Wasilov

VANCOUVER, BC, Canada, January 8, 2008. Intrawest ULC, a world leader in the development and management of experiential destination resorts, today announced the appointment of William (Bill) A. Jensen to the position of Chief Executive Officer effective on June 1, 2008. Jensen will succeed Alex Wasilov, a former director of the board, who has served as CEO over the last 15 months and will return to serve as a member of the Intrawest Board of Directors to focus on long term vision and strategy for the Company. Wasilov's transition will be effective on June 30, 2008.

Jensen brings more than 30 years of ski industry experience and a demonstrated track record of successfully growing mountain resort operations throughout North America. Jensen joins the Company from Vail Resorts, where he held the position of President of Vail Resorts' Mountain Division. In 1997 Jensen joined Vail Resort's as the Chief Operating Officer at Breckenridge Ski Resort and he was subsequently promoted to the position of Chief Operating Officer of Vail Mountain in 1999.

From 1991 to 1997, Jensen was President of Fibreboard Resort Group where he oversaw the executive management of three ski resorts in California (Northstar at Tahoe, Sierra at Tahoe, and Bear Mountain). He also served as Vice President of Marketing for Sunday River Ski Resort in New England from 1989 to 1991. Jensen is an enthusiastic leader and accomplished community representative. He currently serves as Chairman of the National Ski Areas Association.
