Salamander Hotels & Resorts Appoints Darin Riggio as Director of Sales and Marketing at Reunion Resort, Central Florida
Salamander Hotels & Resorts, the luxury hotel company founded by
Sheila Johnson, has appointed Darin Riggio as director of sales and
marketing at Reunion Resort, Central Florida's premier vacation
destination. Riggio will oversee the Orlando property's sales and
marketing strategies, including driving business, revenue and overall
brand awareness to the resort.
Riggio joins Reunion Resort from Hyatt Regency Coral Gables, where he
was director of sales and marketing. He has over a decade of experience
in the hospitality industry, including working as associate director of
sales at Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress and director of mid-Atlantic
accounts at PGA National Resort & Spa in Palm Beach Gardens. He was
also a national sales manager at Fontainebleau Miami Beach, showcasing
his expansive understanding of the Southeast market.

Riggio is a Certified Hospitality Sales Professional by the American
Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute. He has a deep appreciation
for traveling and is happiest spending time with his wife, Jessica, and
their two children. He enjoys golfing and cheering on his favorite NFL
team, the New York Giants.
