Fairmont San Francisco Appoints Jacco van Teeffelen as Hotel Manager

USA, San Francisco, California. October 17, 2018

Fairmont San Francisco is pleased to announce that Jacco van Teeffelen has been named hotel manager of the iconic property atop Nob Hill. Jacco arrived from the San Diego area, where he most recently served as the Hotel Manager at the luxurious Fairmont Grand Del Mar resort property. He brings multiple years of progressive leadership experience within the hospitality industry to this exciting, active role. In 2007 he joined Jumby Bay, a Rosewood Resort, as Executive Assistant Manager in charge of Food and Beverage. In 2010, Jacco was appointed Resort Manager, Soneva Gili Resort, a Six Senses Resorts and Spas, in the Maldives. He relocated to England in 2011, when he joined Fairmont Hotels & Resorts as the Director of Food & Beverage at The Savoy before returning stateside in 2015 to Fairmont Grand Del Mar.

Jacco earned his Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Management from Hotel Management School Maastricht in the Netherlands. Additionally, he received several Cornell University certificates including Hotel Real Estates Investment & Asset Management as well as Advanced Hospitality Revenue Management.
