Executives Join Marriott New Orleans at the Convention Center
Directors of Room Operations and Finance and Accounting Round Out Leadership Team
NEW ORLEANS, LA, August 22, 2005. Donna Brown, a seventeen year veteran with Marriott, is the Director of Room Operations. She was previously the General Manager of the Courtyard by Marriott on St. Charles Avenue. Brown will oversee all aspects of room operations, from developing internal procedures and training to providing guest support and services. A native of New Orleans, Brown received her BA in Business Accounting at Americus University and has completed training at Courtyard by Marriott University and Residence Inn by Marriott University and Marriott Sales School.
Director of Finance and Accounting Shannon Harp will be responsible for the revenue forecasting, auditing and financial reporting for the hotel. Previously with the JW Marriott in New Orleans, Harp has worked her way through Marriott, beginning as a Front Desk Clerk six years ago. Along with a BS in Accounting from Arizona State University, Harp has received numerous recognitions from Marriott including JW Marriott Manager of the Quarter and South Central Assistant Controller of the Year.
