Gold Key | PHR Appoints Michael Platt as Managing Director of Its Cavalier Resort
Gold Key | PHR, a leading hospitality company based in Coastal Virginia, announces the appointment of Michael Platt as Managing Director of the company's Cavalier Resort. Platt will bring his extensive hospitality management expertise to the sprawling premier hospitality Complex.
In his newly appointed role, Platt will oversee the day-to-day operations for the company's award-winning hotel, The Historic Cavalier Hotel & Beach Club, the soon-to-launch Marriott Virginia Beach Oceanfront, six signature food and beverage outlets, and private residences.

Platt joins the Gold Key | PHR team with over 25 years of experience in the hospitality and food and beverage industries having overseen operations at some of the country's most prestigious properties. He was most recently the General Manager of the 500 acre, El Conquistador Tucson, A Hilton Resort. His experience in the hospitality industry encompasses a range of executive leadership positions including Vice President of Hotel and Food and Beverage Operations at Pechanga Resort and Casino, Director of Food and Beverage and Operations at St. Regis Hotel and Spa in Beverly Hills, and Vice President of Food and Beverage at Regent Hotels and Resorts.
