Dreamscape Names Amy Riley Director of Group Sales at Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino

USA, Las Vegas, Nevada. September 28, 2020

Dreamscape Companies, owner of the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino, has named hospitality industry veteran Amy Riley as the resort's Director of Group Sales.

Dreamscape purchased the Rio in 2019 and will take over management in 2022, following a two-year leaseback agreement with former owner Caesars Entertainment.

Riley joins Dreamscape from the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA), where she was the Senior Director of Business Development.

"We feel extremely fortunate to have someone with Amy's experience and industry relationships join our team at The Rio," said Eric Birnbaum, Founder of Dreamscape. "As we continue to develop our strategic plan, groups and large events will be a core focus of the hotel."

In her new role, Riley will be responsible for building the Rio's Convention and Group Sales infrastructure, booking groups and events and will serve as liaison to the convention and hospitality trade industry. Riley's focus will be on sales and events for the Rio beginning in 2022.

"I'm very excited to be a part of Dreamscape's vision for the Rio," said Riley. "The location has always made it a popular choice for groups and that's only going to grow with the vison the company has for the future."

Prior to her time at the LVCVA, Riley worked as Director of Sales for both Caesars Palace and Mandalay Bay. She is actively engaged in several top industry organizations including Meeting Professionals International (MPI), Society for Incentive Travel Excellence (SITE), American Society of Association Excellence (ASAE), the Incentive Research Foundation (IRF),International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE), Corporate Event Marketing Association(CEMA), and the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association (HSMAI). She currently sits on the board of the SITE Foundation, which was established to raise funds and support research, education and advocacy projects on behalf of the incentive travel industry.
