Viceroy L’Ermitage Beverly Hills Appoints Executive Team

Viceroy L'Ermitage Beverly Hills, the 116-room all-suite luxury hotel renowned for its legendary elegance, is pleased to announce two new team appointments. The hotel welcomes Scott Berger as General Manager and Daniel Ben-Efraim and as Executive Director of Sales & Marketing.

Scott Berger, General Manager

With over 14 years of experience, Scott Berger will be joining the Viceroy L'Ermitage Beverly Hills as General Manager. Most recently, Berger served as General Manager at The Peninsula Beverly Hills where he oversaw all day-to-day activities including food & beverage, spa and engineering operations. In addition to his time at The Peninsula Beverly Hills, Berger trained at The Peninsula Chicago, The Peninsula Hong Kong, and The Peninsula Tokyo providing him with considerable experience in international day-to-day hotel operations.

As General Manager, Berger will oversee all day-to-day operations of the Viceroy L'Ermitage Beverly Hills including staff management, business operations, and the execution of strategic plans to ensure the hotel achieves its long-term goals. As a results-oriented leader, Berger brings outstanding client relations, luxury expertise and strong leadership skills to his new role.

Daniel Ben-Efraim, Executive Director of Sales & Marketing

Daniel Ben-Efraim joins the Viceroy L'Ermitage Beverly Hills as Executive Director of Sales & Marketing with two decades of experience under his belt. Ben-Efraim was previously at 1 Hotels as the Area Director of Sales and Marketing. During his time at 1 Hotels, he led the launch of their first West Coast operation, the 1 Hotel West Hollywood, and specialized in creating targeted strategies with a focus on brand development and repositioning of assets within competitive markets. Additionally, he has previously lead the sales and marketing efforts at Shutters on the Beach, Hotel Casa Del Mar, the Loews Regency New York, and The London NYC.

As the Executive Director of Sales & Marketing, Ben-Efraim will oversee all sales and marketing strategic planning and execution, identifying of key growth opportunities and further develop the sales and financial goals for the property.
