Sales and Distribution Expert Nicolas Besse Joins Vertu Hotels and Resorts
The leading hospitality group VERTU HOTELS AND RESORTS grows its team of experts by welcoming Nicolas Besse as a Member of the Strategic Advisory Board and to oversee the Distribution Department.
Based in Paris, Mr Besse brings nearly three decades of international senior leadership expertise in the hospitality industry shared between the USA, Europe, and Southeast Asia.
Since 2012, Nicolas held the position of Director of Chain & Partner Management for the HRS group. He built the local and international expansion of hotel chains key account management and interfaces for connecting HRS with chain hotels supply.
Prior to that, he was the Vice President of Sales and Distribution for the Sofitel brand where he oversaw the repositioning of the brand in the luxury hotels segment. Nicolas originally joined Accor group in 2001 to create and deploy its internet distribution technologies for all the hotels. In addition to this already impressive list of strategic roles, Nicolas also held managerial positions at Disneyland Paris and the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group.
