Tempo by Hilton Times Square Appoints Joe Monserrate as Director of Sales

The highly-anticipated Tempo by Hilton Times Square announced that Joe Monserrate has been named director of sales of the 661-room property. Scheduled to open in the second half of this year, the property will mark the global premiere of Hilton's newest lifestyle brand, Tempo by Hilton, dedicated to exceeding the expectations of the ambitious, modern traveler.

Throughout his 25-year career, Monserrate served as director of sales at Montrose Hotel Beverly Hills, before his promotion to regional director of sales and marketing at OLS Hotels & Resorts, working with hotels including the Chamberlain West Hollywood and Le Parc at Melrose. Monserrate opened the Ace Hotel Downtown Los Angeles as director of sales and marketing, with his remit including the historic United Artists Theater, before being promoted to area director of sales and marketing, overseeing Ace Hotel New York and Ace Hotel Brooklyn.

Tempo by Hilton Times Square is located at TSX Broadway, a 46-story tower under development in the heart of Times Square featuring the hotel, experiential retail, integrated signage and cutting-edge entertainment spaces. Featuring 661-rooms, including 19 suites, the lifestyle property will offer a dedicated Get Ready Zone for organization or working, a spacious bathroom with Bluetooth speakers and bath amenities by Apotheke, and an enveloping sleep environment to help guests unwind, with direct views of the iconic Times Square through floor-to-ceiling windows.

Placing a focus on wellness, in addition to a state-of-the-art fitness center and signature hydration station, Tempo by Hilton Wellness guest rooms are also available, offering a Peloton spin bike and Therabody products, perfect for an in-room workout. The hotel will feature four food and beverage options, including an outdoor terrace and an evening bar and lounge with free-spirited and spirited cocktails and small plates. Perfect for breakfast, guests can enjoy specialty Bluestone Lane espresso drinks, teas, juices and more from the Australian-inspired premium coffee roaster, café and lifestyle brand.
