InterContinental Buckhead Atlanta Appoints Daniel Padberg as Director of Food & Beverage
InterContinental Buckhead Atlanta - Atlanta's no.1 hotel, courtesy of Travel + Leisure, is proud to announce the appointment of Daniel Padberg as Director of Food & Beverage. Bringing a successful track record of culinary leadership to the team, Padberg will hone and direct the sophisticated property's esteemed food and beverage program inclusive of The Americano, the hotel's Club Lounge and in-room dining.

Padberg brings over 13 years of effective culinary leadership experience in the restaurant and hospitality industry to his new role at Atlanta's star InterContinental hotel. As Director of Food & Beverage, Padberg will oversee all food and beverage operations for the hotel's culinary programming including the acclaimed The Americano restaurant helmed by celebrity chef Scott Conant, the hotel's Club Lounge, banquets, caterings, and in-room dining. Most recently, Padberg served as Director of Food and Beverage at The Ritz Carlton in Atlanta. During this time, he led operations of all culinary outlets while efficiently managing leadership teams, constructing successful marketing programs, and creating training programs to achieve Forbes standards. Padberg began his career as a sous chef at Hilton Suites and Hilton Garden Inn in Oakbrook, IL. Soon after, he was internally promoted to Food and Beverage Manager, and then onto Director of Food and Beverage at the hotel. He continued his career growth as Assistant Director of Food and Beverage operations at Waldorf Astoria in Chicago, IL. Padberg also held culinary roles during his early career at hotels in Indianapolis including JW Marriott Indianapolis and Conrad Indianapolis.
Padberg earned a Bachelor of Science Degree at Purdue University Calumet in Hammond, IN, with a concentration in Hospitality and Tourism Management.
