Pacifica Hotels Unveils Guestroom Renovation of Jamaica Bay Inn
Pacifica Hotels, the owner and operator of Jamaica Bay Inn, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, recently completed the total renovation of all guest rooms and suites at the ideally-situated waterfront property in Marina del Rey, Calif. Pacifica Hotels is the largest owner and operator of independent, design-inspired hotels on the Pacific Coast.
Helmed by Norah Shimer of Pacifica Design Group, the thoughtfully updated guest rooms at Jamaica Bay Inn include new wall coverings, carpet, paint, drapery, lighting, art and wall decor, mattresses, bedding, and televisions. All bathrooms and hotel corridors were also fully transformed.
"The goal for the new guest rooms was to brighten and freshen up a previously dim and dated space," Shimer said. "I was influenced by the name of the hotel to add unique details such as palm leaves, seagrass inspired textiles, and rattan, which give the room a tropical, yet classic feel. The new look incorporates a palette of serene blues and neutrals that beautifully complement the marina views."
The recently refreshed property transports guests to the tropics with fresh island-inspired décor and an unbeatable waterfront location. Guests can enjoy a relaxing retreat or adventure in Marina del Rey, steps away from attractions like Abbot Kinney Blvd and the Venice Beach Boardwalk. The hotel offers a heated pool with beachfront views, daily beach cruiser rentals, ample event space for meetings or oceanfront social gatherings, and delicious cuisine at the on-site restaurant, Beachside.
"This recent renovation significantly enhances the guest experience at Jamaica Bay Inn coupling soothing tones with the picturesque waterfront views," said Matt Marquis, CEO of Pacifica Hotels. "With the sand just steps away, this special property offers an ideal location to relax and recharge."
